January 2023 marked a life-changing experience for me as I found myself traveling across Asia for over 2 months. The first stop was Tokyo, Japan, which I've been mesmerized by since childhood. My close friend and designer-extraordinaire, ItsKnowOne (aka, Gabriel Perez), took me on this first leg of the trip as he is deeply familiar with Japan. We stayed near Ueno Station off the iconic Yamanote line and explored various neighborhoods with camera and lenses in hand. The following series not only captures the beginning of this extensive trip, but marks a fresh start in a new creative direction fueled by unforeseen experiences and inspiration overseas.
